Ingrid has been my trainer for about seven years. I’ll be 60 this year, so I was just a baby when I started!
I am happy to stand up and say that Ingrid’s training is what has stood between me and losing fitness and flexibility during my 50s, when I have been very busy professionally. I’ve spent a lot of time in gym’s pools and running pavements over the years, and Ingrid’s small group training is well tailored for my aerobic fitness as well as strength and flexibility.
When I started training with Ingrid I had no idea about her expertise in nutrition. Having listened to what she has had to say over the years, it is interesting to see that a lot of her sensible advice is now mainstream and being reported everywhere.
One of the things I love about working with Ingrid is that she lives what she teaches. I’ll leave it for her to say her age, but I can tell you that I’ve never met anyone of Ingrid’s age who is as fit and healthy and looks as fabulous as she does. She’s my role model.
Two years ago, I lost all mobility in my left shoulder due to a condition known as Frozen Shoulder. After an operation to restore movement, the surgeon recommended that I attend exercise classes to strengthen and tone the muscles in my shoulder. I began Ingrid's Heart Moves classes and as a result I was able to regain full mobility. My surgeon was surprised as most people are not able to recover complete movement.
The classes which include the use of weights and resistance bands have also led to an improvement in my general health, body strength and muscle tone so much that I was recently able to move house, lifting and carrying items which I would not have been able to do without attending the classes.
I thoroughly recommend Ingrid's classes for overall health and fitness.
I cannot recommend highly enough the Heart-fit classes held at Phoenix Park Community Centre by Ingrid Pich.
Not only do I have more energy, feel better but people comment on how well I look.
I was recently on a European trip trip where much walking and stairs were involved. I had no problem keeping up with people 10 years (and more) younger.
Everyone can participate in this activity.
Thank goodness that I discovered Ingrid's class. I am sure I have improved my balance, strength and endurance in the 12 months that I have been attending. I particularly like how Ingrid encourages us to do better and try harder.
