Exercise Easy – About Us
Ingrid Pich founded Exercise Easy in 1962 after returning from overseas. She found the need to reinvent herself, to start a new career and follow her passion in health and fitness. Ingrid saw the need to deliver strength and fitness training for those who wanted to enjoy good health, fitness and independence well into mature age.
As far back as her childhood, Ingrid always enjoyed any kind of sport; as a teenager she was passionate about kayak racing and became Australian champion.
Ingrid completed three marathons and fully understands the discipline of training. Just to be extreme, she had the opportunity to experience the thrill of paragliding. She does not believe we are ever too old for anything. All it takes is the will, good health and the desire to meet challenges.
Ingrid understands that taking up exercise is not easy if you’ve never been keen on it and the thought of joining a gym is daunting. However, with her guidance you can improve your fitness level, and build up your self-esteem and confidence – even after just a few weeks of gentle exercise. Believe it or not, it can be fun.
We have a large, aging population who have never exercised, with many now having to cope with various disorders, such as balance, Type II diabetes and cardiovascular and weight issues.
Do you want the confidence to enjoy all the activities of daily living?
It is never ever too late to start! Exercise Easy will give you the incentive, guidance and motivation to get into shape no matter what condition you are in, no matter what age.
Ingrid has experience in running strength training classes for Type II diabetics and qualified by the Heart Foundation for the Heart Moves program, trained to deliver exercise for Parkinson’s and Stroke recovery.
